Cancer Did Not End Her Story. It Revealed Her Mission.
Angela Padmore is an author, breast cancer survivor, community advocate, and woman of faith whose story is rooted in courage, resilience, and hope. Born in St. Michael, Barbados, Angela’s journey has carried her through seasons of hardship, healing, motherhood, survival, and purpose.
After being diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer at age 61, Angela faced one of the most difficult battles of her life. Her journey included surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, financial challenges, emotional struggles, and moments where faith became her lifeline. Through it all, she held on to prayer, worship, and the belief that her story was not over.
Today, Angela uses her voice, books, testimony, cancer awareness work, and community efforts to encourage others who are fighting, healing, grieving, or rebuilding. Her books, In the Mirror and Letters to My Younger Self, reflect her heart for transparency, wisdom, and transformation.
Angela’s life is a reminder that survival is more than making it through — it is rising with purpose, serving with compassion, and helping others see hope in their own reflection.
